Pack 198 is a great group of boys and their families, working together to provide a fun and safe environment for boys to learn life skills, build character and enjoy exciting outdoor experiences.

We strive to instill the Ten Purposes of Cub Scouting in each of our Scouts.  The Ten Purposes of Cub Scouting are:

  • Character Development
  • Spiritual Growth
  • Good Citizenship
  • Sportsmanship and Fitness
  • Family Understanding
  • Respectful Relationships
  • Personal Achievement
  • Friendly Service
  • Fun and Adventure
  • Preparation for Boy Scouts

We are chartered by the West Tualatin View PTC in Portland, Oregon.  Our pack is a member of the Sunset Trail District of the Cascade Pacific Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Most of our boys attend West Tualatin View Elementary but we welcome families from throughout the Cedar Hills, Cedar Mill and Westhaven neighborhoods.

We meet at West Tualatin View Elementary.  Pack meetings are in the gym on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM.  Den meeting dates and times vary depending on the den.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America...
to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath, Law, and Motto.
