A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

What makes Scouting great?  

It's that we only expect the boys to do their best.  It's all you can really ask for and it's all you can really expect.  

Does Scouting really work?

Researchers at Tufts University conducted a study to gauge the impact of Cub Scouts on the academic and personal development of male youth.  In short, they asked the simple question - Does Scouting Work?  The answer is a resounding yes!
